הקטע מאחד שלושה פרגמנטים, שבכל אחד מהם מופיעים פיוטים עבריים בצד אחד ושרידי איגרות בערבית-יהודית בצד השני. נראה כי שלוש האיגרות נכתבו באותו כתב יד, וכל קטעי הפיוטים נכתבו אף הם בכתב ידו של מעתיק אחד (השונה ממעתיק האיגרות). לא ברור אם הפרגמנטים שייכים לאותה איגרת או שמקורם בשלוש איגרות שונות. דף 2: חלקה העליון של איגרת בערבית-יהודית. ממוענת לאדם נכבד הנושא את הכינויים "הנדיב והשוע". האיגרת מזכירה עדכונים בעניינו של ר' ישועה והתכתבות עם אבו אל-עלאא. השולח מדווח כי ע'אלב התמיד בלימודיו של ה'סידור' ובנושאים נוספים אצל מאן דהו. בהמשך נזכרת מטפחת או צעיף משי (ואל-מקנעה אל-קזّ...).
Princeton Geniza Project description: The shelfmark T-S Ar.18(1).123 unites three fragments, which all have Hebrew liturgical poems on one side and remainders of letters in Judaeo-Arabic on the other. All three letters appear to be in the same handwriting, and all the liturgical fragments are likewise in the handwriting of the same scribe (different than the scribe of the letters). It is unclear if any of the fragments belong to the same letter or if they are from three different letters. Fol. 2: Upper part of a letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Addressed to a dignitary with the epithets "ha-Nadiv ve-ha-Shavaʿ." Mentions updates concerning R. Yeshuʿa and correspondence with Abū l-ʿAlāʾ. The sender reports that Ghālib has been diligent in his studies of the 'siddur' and other subejcts with somebody. then mentions a silk veil or scarf (wa-l-miqnaʿa al-qazz...).
