Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document, in Arabic script. Lease document for a house in Fusṭāṭ, owned by Abī Saʿīd b. Makārim b. Abī Saʿīd al-Yahūdī, the overseer of the endowment of Rabbanite Jews in Fusṭāṭ. The leasee is Makārim b. Abī al-Faraj b. Ṭāhir al-Yahūdī the perfumer. The term of the lease is one calendar year, and the rent to be paid is 6 dirhams per month. The document was ratified on 2nd Shaʿbān 626 H.
