רקטו: שטר מחילה שנכתב על ידי חלפון בן מנשה בפוסטאט. בנוסח המקובל, האישה משחררת את בעלה, אבו אל-עלא, מכל התביעות והשבועות הקשורות בנדונייתה וכיוצא באלה, פרט לסכום של 17 דינרים שהוא חייב לה. הבעל מתנה מה ייעשה במקרה שימות לפניה, או שיגרשה, או שהיא תיזום את הגירושין. מוזכרים גם ילדיה, אבו אל-ח'יר וסת אל-כל. חתומים על המסמך מנשה הכהן בן יעקב וחלפון הלוי בן מנשה. ורסו: מסמך משפטי הנוגע לחוב שנוצר בעקבות מכירת בית; הצדדים הם אבו סעד ניסן ואבו אל-עלא (ייתכן שמדובר באותו אדם המוזכר ברקטו). נכתב בפוסטאט תחת סמכותו של מצליח הכהן, ומתוארך לשנת 14[4]1 למניין השטרות (= 1130 לסה"נ). חתומים עליו מנשה בן יעקב הכהן וחלפון בן מנשה. Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Release written by Ḥalfon b. Menashshe in Fustat. Using the standard formulae, a woman named Mawlāt releases her husband, Abū l-ʿAlā, from all accusations and oaths in connection with her dowry, etc. except for 17 dinars he owes her. The husband stipulates what should be done should he predecease her or divorce her or should she initiate divorce. Her children, Abū l-Khayr and Sitt al-Kull, are also mentioned. Signed by Menashshe ha-Kohen b. Yaʿaqov and Ḥalfon ha-Levi b. Menashshe. Verso: legal document concerning a debt resulting from the sale of a house; the parties being Abū Saʿd Nisan and Abū l-ʿAlā (the same individual on recto). Also involves Mawlāt, the same woman from recto. Written in Fusṭāṭ under the authority of Maṣliaḥ ha-Kohen, dated 14[4]1 of the Seleucid Era (= 1130 CE). Signed by Menashshe b.
