Avraham and the groom is Yosef b. Yaʿaqov b. Avraham. The groom's monetary contributions toward the marriage are: 50 kesif + 1,500 medin + 200 medin + 800 medin. In lines 18-19, the betrothal document includes a condition that if Yosef strikes his wife in "a moment of quarreling" during the first ten years of the marriage, then he will "give five משקלות of lamp oil to the synagogue" (lit.
