שטר אירוסין קראי מקהיר, מתוארך ט"ז בניסן ה'תל"ג (1673). הכלה היא פרג' בת ישועה בן יצחק, שטרם נישאה, והחתן הוא דניאל בן יוסף בן שלמה חזן. דניאל נשבע את השבועה המקובלת שלא לצאת לערים אחרות מחוץ לקהיר, פרט לירושלים. תרומות החתן לנישואין מפורטות בשטר: 50 כסף + 960 מדין + 200 מדין + 1000 מדין. בתחתית המסמך נעשה שימוש חוזר לצורך תרגול כתיבה של נוסח הפתיחה והתאריך המקובל בשטרות משפטיים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Karaite betrothal document. Date: Nisan 16 Nisan 5433 AM (1673 CE). Location: Cairo. The previously unmarried bride is Farj bt. Yeshūʿa b. Yiṣḥaq and the groom Daniel b. Yosef b. Shelomo Ḥazzan. Daniel takes the customary oath not to travel to any cities outside Cairo, except Jerusalem. The groom's contributions toward the marriage are listed as: 50 kesif + 960 medin + 200 medin + 1000 medin. The bottom of the document was reused for writing practice of the opening date formula in legal documents. MCD.
