עדות בית דין בכתב ידו של יהודה בן טוביהו, שנכתבה בבלביס ביום חמישי, סוף כסלו ה'אלף 1530 למניין השטרות, היינו 20 בדצמבר 1218 לספירה, תחת סמכותו של אברהם בן הרמב"ם. בעדות מצהיר סלמאן בן שלמה הלוי כי אחיו ברכאת ערך את צוואתו בתחילת חודש שבט ונפטר בכ"ו בטבת, וכי אלמנתו נִעַם/נֹעַם בת פֻתוּח הסכימה להפחתת מאוחר הכתובה לסכום של שלושים דינרים — כנראה משום הצורך לדאוג לפרנסתן של שתי בנות קטינות, סֻתות ונַעְמָה. Princeton Geniza Project description: Court testimony in the hand of Yehuda b. Ṭuviyyahu. Location: Bilbays. Dated: Thursday, end of Kislev 1530 Seleucid = 20 December 1218 CE, under the authority of Avraham Maimonides. In which Salmān b. Shelomo ha-Levi states that his brother Barakāt made his will at the beginning of Shevat and died on the 26th of Tevet, and that his widow Niʿam/Noʿam bt. Futūḥ had agreed to a reduction of the late marriage gift to thirty dinars, probably because two minor daughters, Sutūt and Naʿama, had to be provided for.
