תרגילי כתיבה בערבית-יהודית בסגנון איגרות. שם המשפחה של התלמיד מופיע בכותרת העליונה כ"זרדל", צורת משנה של השם אבזרדיל/אבזרדל המוכר ממסמכים מן העת החדשה המוקדמת. בכותרת רשם המורה משפט בכתב יד למופת שעל התלמיד היה לחזור עליו (המשפט הוא נוסחה שגורה בהתכתבויות). פורמט זה של תרגילי כתיבה מתוארך למאה השמונה-עשרה או התשע-עשרה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Writing exercises in epistolary Judaeo-Arabic. The student's surname appears in the upper heading "Zardel" a variant of the name Abzardil/Abzaradel that appears in early modern documents. In the heading the instructor offered a phrase in model handwriting for the student to repeat (the phrase is a common formulary in correspondence). This format of writing exercises dates to the eighteenth or nineteenth century. MCD.
