מכתב בכתב ידו של יהודה בן טוביהו, ככל הנראה ממוען למשה בן מימון (פעיל בשנים 1168–1204 לערך), על סמך החשיבות הניכרת המיוחסת לנמען והברכה לבנו אברהם שימלא את משרת אביו. כתוב ביהודית-ערבית. השולח מדווח כי מילא את הוראות הנמען וניגש אל כל אחת ממשפחות יהודי אשקלון, אף שהדבר גרם לו מידה של השפלה (זלזול).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter in the hand of Yehuda b. Ṭuviyyahu probably addressed to Moshe Maimonides (active ca. 1168–1204 CE), based on the importance of the addressee and the blessing for his son Avraham to occupy his office. In Judaeo-Arabic. The sender fulfilled the addressee's orders to approach each family of the Jews of Ashqelon, even though this brought him a degree of humiliation (zilzul). (F. Niessen and A.
