ורסו: שני גושי טקסט נפרדים בכתב ערבי. העליון הוא רשומה על גובה שיטפון הנילוס. חלקה קורא: 'הנילוס עלה בחסד ריבון העולמים ביום חמישי שביעי בראשון שבע עשרה אמה, שבח לאלוהים ריבון העולמים וברכת אלוהים על עבדיו הנבחרים'. התחתון, בזווית 90 מעלות, ברובו באותו כתב יד מזכיר קאד'י. 'למולאי הקאד'י' כלומר הדוח על שיטפון הנילוס יכול להיות לקאד'י, ואחר כך מזכיר שהשולח לרשות הקאד'י בכל עת שירצה 'מטאלבה פי אי וקת שא אן שא אללה'. הדוח מתוארך לפי הלוח העברי, יום חמישי ז' אלול. דרוש בדיקה נוספת. Princeton Geniza Project description: Verso: Two distinct text blocks in Arabic script. The upper one is a record about the height of the Nile flood. Part of which reads as " اوفي النيل بفضل رب العالمين يوم الخميس سبعة في الول سبعة عشر ذراعا الحمد لله رب العالمين وصلى الله على عباده الذين اصطفى". The lower one, at 90 degrees, mostly in the same hand mentions a qāḍī. "لمولاي القاضي" meaning that the report about the Nile flood could be for the Qāḍī, and then mentions that the sender is at the disposal of the Qāḍī whenever he wants "مطالبة في اي وقت شا ان شا الله" . The report is dated according to the Jewish calendar, Thursday 7th of Elūl. Needs further examination. (Information in part from CUDL.) ASE, YU.
