מכתב המופנה לאלעזר הכוהן, ששמו מוקדם על ידי מחרוזת של תוארים האופייניים לסוף המאה ה-12 או תחילת המאה ה-13. השולח אומר שהקהילה הבטיחה לכבד אותו בתפקיד הכנת הדלתות לבית הכנסת; כעת הוא כותב לאשר זאת. ישנו גם חלק ממכתב בורסו, לא ברור אם זהו ההמשך או מכתב נפרד.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter addressed to Elʿazar ha-Kohen, whose name is prefaced with a string of honorifics typical of the late 12th or early 13th century. The sender says that the community promised to honor him with the job of making the doors for the synagogue; now he writes to confirm this. There is also a portion of a letter on verso, unclear if this is the continuation or a separate letter.
