שבר מהתכתבות רשמית הנוגעת לניהול מצרים העליונה. ארבע השורות הראשונות שמורות ברובן. 'יש לכתוב מכתב נכבד (כתאב כרים) אל מנהל (מוטוולי) ה[...] בקוס שבו מועבר שהאזור הידוע בשם אבנוד השכן לאיקטאע של [...]אל-מורתדא אל-סעיד צפות אל-ח'לאפה...'. שימש בורסו לטקסט עברי בכתב יד ראשוני, ואולי פתק ארכיוני.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Fragment of official correspondence concerning the administration of Upper Egypt. The first four lines are mostly preserved. "It is necessary to write a noble letter (kitāb karīm) to the administrator (mutawallī) of the [...] in Qūṣ in which it is conveyed that the area known as Abnūd neighboring the iqṭāʿ of [. . .] al-Murtaḍā al-Saʿīd Ṣifwat al-Khilāfa. . . ." Reused on verso for Hebrew text in rudimentary hand, and possibly an archival note.
