קטע של מכתב בערבית-יהודית, כתוב על קלף. המכתב מתייחס או ליחסיו האינטימיים של הנמען עם האחים אלתסתרי בפוסטאט, או לכך שכעת הוא משתווה להם במעמדו ויוקרתו, יחד עם סהלאן ההבר. במקומות אחרים במכתב מופיעות לפחות שתי התייחסויות לכך שהקראים הם אויביו של הנמען, ואין להניח להם להתהלל ולשמוח לאידו. כמו כן מוזכרת שליחתו של בגד יקר ערך (ת'וב ארג'ישי(?)); בקשה שהנמען ישלח חצי מת'קאל של תות'יא הודית (תחמוצת אבץ לרפואה), משום שאחת מעיניו של השולח סובלת מבעיות; הנסיעה המתוכננת של הנמען לחלב, ועצה שישמור על עצמו וייטול תרופות (או אולי להפך, "אל תרבה בשתיית תרופות"). המכתב מזכיר גם עסקאות מסחריות שונות. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter fragment in Judaeo-Arabic. On parchment. Referring either to the addressee's intimate relations with the Tustari brothers in Fustat or that he now equals them in prestige, along with Sahlān he-Ḥaver. Elsewhere in the letter there are at least two references to how the Qaraites are the enemies of the addressee and they must not be allowed to gloat. Also mentions the sending of a valuable garment (thawb Arjīshī(?)); a request that the addressee send a half-mithqāl of Indian tutty, because one of the sender's eyes is having problems; the addressee's intended trip to Aleppo, and advice that he take care of himself and take medicines (or possibly the opposite, "don't drink too many medicines").
