קטע מראש מכתב הממוען לאישיות נכבדה. בעברית. הנמען מתבקש להשתדל אצל רבנו אהרן החבר, ככל הנראה כדי לאפשר לשולח לעלות ל'דוכן' בבית הכנסת ולשאת את כפיו (כלומר, לברכת כהנים) — "לעלות לדוכן ולשאת את כפיו". כמה שורות מתחת מוזכר (יריב?) היורד לפני התיבה ובושתו של השולח — "וירד לפני התיבה ובשתי". כמו כן מוזכרת תפילת ערבית.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Fragment from the top of a letter addressed to a dignitary. In Hebrew. The addressee is asked to intercede with Rabbenu Aharon he-Ḥaver, possibly to allow the sender to go up to the 'dukhan' in the synagogue and lift his hands (i.e., for the priestly blessing) (לעלות לדוכן ולשאת את כפיו). A few lines down, mentions (a rival?) going down before the ark and the sender being ashamed (וירד לפני התיבה ובשתי). Also mentions the evening prayer (ʿaravit).
