מכתב מאת החבר יהושע בן עלי אללאד'קי(?), בירושלים, אל אבו אלעז(?) בן עלי אבו מנצור, בקהיר החדשה. גוף המכתב הוא שיר שבח עברי, ככל הנראה מכתב לוואי שנשלח יחד עם ציציות שהנמען הזמין מהשולח (לצד תפילות שייאמרו עבורו בירושלים). נכתב ב-1 בתמוז. כלולות בו ברכות להחלמה ממחלה — ייתכן שזו הייתה הסיבה להזמנת הציציות ולבקשת התפילות. בצד ורסו רישומים רבים נוספים בערבית.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from the ḥaver Yehoshuaʿ b. ʿEli al-Lādhiqī(?), in Jerusalem, to Abū l-ʿIzz(?) b. ʿEli Abū Manṣūr, in New Cairo. The letter consists of a Hebrew poetic panegyric, apparently to accompany the tzitzit (fringes) which the addressee had ordered from the sender (along with prayers on his behalf in Jerusalem). Written on 1 Tammuz. There are good wishes for recovery from illness (maybe the occasion for the order of tzitzit and prayers). On verso there are many other Arabic jottings.
