מסמך משפטי. שטר שחרור משותפות. אבו סעד אברהם בן דניאל הכהן משחרר את עבדאללה הידוע גם כעובדיה בן משולם אלצורי משותפותם במלאכת האריגה. תנאי פירוק השותפות מחייבים את אברהם לשלם לעובדיה עשרה דינרים. לאחר הפירוק, כל אחד מהשותפים רשאי לעסוק בכוחות עצמו באותו ענף, הן באופן עצמאי והן עם שותפים אחרים. ככל הנראה, לפני פירוק השותפות התחייב כל אחד מהשותפים להקדיש את מלוא מאמציו ותפוקתו לשותפות, תוך הימנעות מעסקאות חיצוניות אחרות. ייתכן שההסכם בין אברהם לעובדיה אסר גם על השקעת מזומנים או סחורות בעסקת קומנדה (שותפות מסחרית). לפי ליברמן ב"A Partnership Culture", עמ' 157. גויטיין מציין את התאריך כ-23 בתמוז של שנת 1390 לשטרות.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document. Record of release. Abū Saʿd Avraham b. Daniʾel ha-Kohen releases ʿAbdallāh aka ʿOvadya b. Meshullam al-Ṣūrī from their partnership in weaving. The terms of the dissolution require Abraham to pay Obadiah 10 dinars. Following the dissolution, each partner is allowed to work on his own in the same industry, both individually and with other partners. Presumably each of the partners committed all his efforts and production to the partnership, to the exclusion of other business transactions, prior to the dissolution. The agreement between Abraham and Obadiah may have forbidden the investment of cash or goods in a commenda.
