רקטו: מכתב הממוען אל יפת בן חיי הדיין (בית דין הקבוע). בעברית ובערבית-יהודית. שרדו חמש שורות וחלק מהטקסט בשוליים. פיסת נייר אופקית זו נחתכה בשלב מאוחר יותר והודבקה מחדש כך שתיצור פיסה אנכית, לצורך המסמך שעל הוורסו. ורסו: מכתב מאת יפת בן חיי סעיד הדיין. בערבית-יהודית ובעברית. לא ברור אם שמו של הנמען או תוכן כלשהו של המסר השתמרו. Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Letter addressed to Yefet b. Ḥayy the Judge (bet din ha-qavuaʿ). In Hebrew and Judaeo-Arabic. 5 lines and part of the marginal text are preserved. This horizontal slip was subsequently cut up and re-glued to form a vertical slip for the sake of the document on verso. Verso: Letter from Yefet b. Ḥayy Saʿīd the judge. In Judaeo-Arabic and Hebrew.
