מכתב משלוח מאת אדם בשם סעדיה אל הנגיד שמואל בן חנניה. המכתב מוסר מידע על תיק משפטי מסוים. עניינו של התיק הוא מחסן של נעורת פשתן (משאק'), כנראה מתוצרי עיבוד הפשתן, השייך לאשתו של אלכהן המוכר בכינויו אבן אללאד'קי. ארבעה אנשים פתחו לכאורה את המחסן בהוראת השלטון (שורה 5). ארבעת האנשים הם: אבו אלחסן החזן המוכר בכינויו אבן מכור; יעקב וח'ליף בני יוסף אלחזאן; וח'לף בן הבה המוכר בכינויו אלטנאמלי. המסמך מזכיר גם את ר' יצחק; אבו אלמעאלי; בדיקת רישומי בית הדין (אלשמוש); וברכאת המוכר בכינויו אבן עאדי. מעורבים בעניין גם מצרכים נוספים, ובהם ספרי קודש (מצאחף). כל המידע הזה נדרש ככל הנראה לצורך תיק ירושה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from a certain Saʿadya to the Nagid Shemuʾel b. Ḥananya. Conveying information about a legal case. The case has to do with a warehouse of fiber tow (mushāq), likely from flax processing, belonging to the wife of al-Kohen known as Ibn al-Lādhiqī. Four men apparently opened the warehouse at the order of the government (l. 5). The four men are Abū l-Ḥasan the cantor known as Ibn מכור; Yaʿaqov and Khulayf the sons of Yosef al-Ḥazzan; and Khalaf b. Hiba known as al-Ṭunnāmilī (appears also in ENA 1822a.24 (PGPID 2620) in the context of mushāq). The document also mentions R. Yiṣḥaq; Abū l-Maʿālī; checking the court records (al-shimmush); Barakāt known as Ibn ʿĀdī. There are also other commodities involved, including codices (maṣāḥif).
