מכתב משפחתי שנשלח מקלעת ג'עבר שעל נהר הפרת בסוריה, מאדם אל אחיו. הכותב מספר כי רק מתוך מכתבו של אחיו נודע לו על שלושה אירועים משפחתיים מרכזיים שאירעו בהיעדרו: מותו של אביו, נישואיו של אחיו, והולדת בנו. במכתב נכללות גם הזמנות של פריטי לבוש — מצנפת (טורבן) וגלימה. המכתב מתוארך לסביבות שנת 1100.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Family letter sent from Qal'at Ja'bar on the Euphrates River Syria, by a man to his brother, saying that he had learned about the death of his father and about his brother's marriage and about the birth of his son only from his brother's letter.
