מרשמים מאגיים להשגת אהבה. המרשם הראשון מבין השניים השמורים בקטע נועד להבטיח חיבה גדולה בין אישה לבעלה ולמחות כל איבה שעלולה לשרור ביניהם. בנוסח המרשם משולבות אנלוגיות מקראיות יפהפיות. המרשם השני נושא את הכותרת "אהבה", המודגשת באמצעות ציור של חופה מעל המילה. ההוראות למבצע הן ליטול "שבעה עלים של עץ דפנה ולטחון אותם ביין ישן", ולאחר מכן לכתוב כמה שמות מאגיים — אולי תוך שימוש בתערובת שהוכנה קודם לכן, או לחלופין לרשום את השמות על עלי הדפנה עצמם. המרשם נחתם בציטוט מקראי נוסף, הפעם משיר השירים ח, ז. על פי מחקרה של אופירה סער (2010), הקטע כולל את הביטוי "כאסתר לפני אחשוורוש" כחלק מהדימויים המאגיים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Magical recipes for attaining love. "The first among these magical recipes is intended to ensure a great affection between a wife and her husband, erasing any animosity that might exist between them. The fragment preserves some beautiful biblical analogies.... The second recipe preserved in our fragment bears the title ‘Love’, emphasised by the drawing of a canopy over the word. It instructs the practitioner to take ‘seven leaves of laurel and grind them in old wine’, after which he is to write several magical names, perhaps using the mixture prepared earlier, or else, to write the names on the laurel leaves.
