הדף השני של מכתב מאת סוחר לא מזוהה, ככל הנראה באלכסנדריה. בערבית-יהודית. גיל מתארך אותו לשנת 1052, ואילו גויטיין מתארך אותו לשנים 1066/67. המכתב ממוען לאחיו של השולח, ובו הוא מספר שהוא מנסה לשים קץ למחלוקת בין סוחרי האינדיגו המוסלמים בעזרת איש מוסלמי נכבד ומומחה לדין. מוזכרת פלישת בני קֻרּה ו"העבדים" לג'יזה. בני הקהילה ניסו לאסוף כסף יחד עם הקראים, אך אלה לא הופיעו לפגישה. (המידע על פי גיל, ארץ ישראל, כרך 4, מס' 816.) כמעט בוודאות מדובר באותו שולח (אם כי ככל הנראה לא באותו מכתב) של מכתב נוסף.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Second leaf of a letter from an unidentified merchant, probably in Alexandria. In Judaeo-Arabic. Dated 1052 by Gil and 1066/67 by Goitein (in Mediterranean Society, II, p. 534). Addressed to the sender's brother, saying that the sender is trying to put an end to a dispute between the Muslim indigo merchants with the aid of a respected Muslim man and a law expert. Mentions the invasion of the Banū Qurra and "the slaves" into Giza. Community members tried to collect money with the Qaraites, but they did not show up to the meeting.
