דו"ח או תזכיר המופנה לפקיד איוובי, ובו נזכר השליט המכהן אל-מלכ אל-עאדל (הראשון, נפטר ב-1218) ובנו שמס אל-דין ממדוד (הידוע גם בשם מַוְדוּד) שנפטר זה לא כבר. השמורה הרשומה במאינץ היא הרישום המקובל, אך המסמך אינו נמצא בפועל במאינץ: התצלום הוא מתוך מיקרופילם השמור בספרייה הלאומית בישראל, ואילו המקור היה שמור במוזיאון לנייר במאינץ אשר נסגר מאז, וכיום הוא בחזקת אבוד. צירוף: מרינה רוסטוב.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Report to an Ayyubid official mentioning the current ruler al-Malik al-ʿĀdil (the First, d. 1218) and his recently deceased son Shams al-Dīn Mamdūd (aka Mawdūd). The Mainz shelfmark is how it's listed in FGP, but it's not actually in Mainz. The image in FGP is from a microfilm at the National Library of Israel; the original was at a paper museum in Mainz that has since closed, now presumed lost. Join: Marina Rustow.
