Princeton Geniza Project description: List of donations Maghrebi congregation collected for the year 5590 = 1829/30 CE. The entries include recurring mention of "the little [daughter] of various community members: for example, צוגיירת משה גריאני (the little [daughter] of Moshe Griyani). Given that these children are not listed as orphans, these entries may represent some other form of charitable support, perhaps a dowry fund for poor community members who would later marry.
