שטר משפטי בעברית, הסכם שותפות להשקעה. מתוארך ל-30 באייר ה'תקנ"א (יוני 1791). מקום: קהיר. דוד קריו (Carillo) השקיע כמויות של משי, כותנה וסחורות אחרות בהקשר לבית מרחץ ("המרץ") בשכונת היהודים בקהיר (בחארת אליהוד). המונח "המרץ" מופיע ישירות לאחר שמו של מקבל ההשקעה, שלמה שמחון, מה שמרמז על כך שככל הנראה היה הבעלים של בית המרחץ.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document in Hebrew, investment partnership. Dated 30 Iyyar 5551 AM (June 1791 CE). Location: Cairo. David Kariyo (Carillo) invested quantities of silk, cotton, and other goods in connection with a bathhouse (המרץ) in the Jewish quarter of Cairo (בחארת אליהוד). The term "המרץ" appears directly after the name of the person receiving the investment, Shelomo Simḥōn, pointing to the likelihood that he was the proprietor of the bathhouse. MCD.
