רקטו: מכתב בערבית-יהודית הממוען לאחותו של הכותב, סבקייא (סבקייא). הכותב הוא ככל הנראה אחד משלושת האחים המוזכרים במסמך המשפטי שעל הוורסו — ג'נטיל, אליהו או יעקב. במהלך המכתב מזכיר הכותב את הקשר של אחותו עם צפניה בן ____[?] אלקרא (הקראי), ואת תשלום ארבעת הג'ינזירלי זהב ששילם האחרון (מטבעות שנטבעו לאחר 1707 לסה"נ). תיארוך המכתב ניתן לשחזור בקירוב לכסלו ה'תפ"ח, שכן ייתכן שנשלח יחד עם המסמך המשפטי שעל גבי הוורסו.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Letter in Judaeo-Arabic addressed to the author's sister Sabaqīya (סבקייא), probably from one of the three siblings mentioned on the verso legal document (Gentīl, Eliyahu, or Yaʿaqov). The writer also mentions their sister's contact with Ṣafanya b. ____[?] al-Qarāʾ (the Qaraite) and the latter's payment of four gold ginzirlis (minted post-1707 CE). The letter's dating can be inferred as roughly Kislev 5488 AM because it may have been sent in tandem with the legal document on the verso. MCD.
