מכתב עסקי הממוען לאבו אסחאק אברהם בן [דאוד?]. כתב היד נראה זהה לזה של נסים בן יצחק (לא התאהרתי), שכתב גם שני מכתבים נוספים. המכתב דהוי מאוד. מוזכרת בו טרדה בעקבות חדשות על ספינות; אחת מהן הגיעה ליעדה לאחר שככל הנראה נתפסה על ידי הביזנטים (וברחה מידיהם?). נדונים בו תשלומים לאבו נצר, והכותב מבקש פרטים נוספים על מה שעליו לקנות עבור הנמען. כמו כן מתבקש הנמען להודיע על מחירי השמן והסבון. Princeton Geniza Project description: Business letter addressed to Abū Isḥāq Avraham b. [Dāʾūd?]. The hand appears to be identical with that of Nissim b. Yiṣḥaq (not the Tāhartī one) who also wrote Bodl. MS heb. d 68/110 (PGPID 2561) and Yevr. III B 640 (PGPID 27836). This letter is very faded. Mentions preoccupation due to news about ships; one arrived which had apparently been captured by Byzantines (and escaped?). Discusses payments to Abū Naṣr and requests further details about what the sender should buy for the addressee. Asks to be informed the prices of oil and soap.
