מכתב בערבית-יהודית הממוען ל"סיידנא אלרייס". התיארוך: ככל הנראה מתקופתו של הדיין אליהו (ראשית המאה ה-13), בהנחה שהוא זהה לדיין אבו אלפרג' הנזכר בשורה 4. המכתב עוסק בסילוק חשבונות עם אבן ע'ראב, וכן במריבה של הכותב עם אדם בשם אכרם. בצדו האחורי של הדף נרשמו כמה רישומי חשבונות בכתב ערבי ובספרות יווניות/קופטיות, ובהם אזכור של זכוכית. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter in Judaeo-Arabic to a certain sayyidnā al-Rayyis. Dating: Probably from the era of Judge Eliyyahu (early 13th century), if he is identical with the judge Abū l-Faraj mentioned in line 4. The letter deals with the settling of accounts with Ibn Ghurāb and the writer's fight with a certain Akram. On verso there are a few jottings of accounts in Arabic script and Greek/Coptic numerals, mentioning glass. (Information in part from Gottheil-Worrell, p. 25.)
