איגרת קהילתית בכתב ידו של יוסף בן ישועה, הכותב בשם קהילת אלכסנדריה. שרדה רק הפתיחה האלגנטית של האיגרת בפרוזה מחורזת. זהות הנמען וההקשר אינם ידועים (המידע על פי פרנקל). זיהוי השולח אינו חד-משמעי, שכן המסמך עצמו כולל רק את הביטוי "ממני ומבני ר' ישועה המומחה". כתב היד נראה זהה לזה שבמסמך אחר (PGPID 19284), שבו הסופר הוא ישועה בן יוסף; אם כן, ייתכן שהוא הכותב בשם אביו. ראו גם מסמך דומה (PGPID 11722) שבו מופיע זיהוי דומה של השולח/ים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter (communal) in the hand of Yosef b. Yeshuʿa, writing on behalf of the community of Alexandria. Only the elegant rhymed prose opening of the letter has survived. Neither the recipient nor the context is known. (Information from Frenkel.) The identification of the sender is somewhat problematic, as the document itself contains only the phrase "from myself and from my son R. Yeshuʿa ha-Mumḥe." The handwriting appears to be identical to Bodl. MS heb. a 3/28 (PGPID 19284), in which case the scribe is Yeshuʿa b. Yosef; perhaps he is writing on behalf of his father.
