הסכם שותפות קראי לייצור גבינה. מתוארך ליום שישי, י"ב בתשרי ה'ש"ן לבריאת העולם (שנת 1901 למניין השטרות) = 22 בספטמבר 1589. ההסכם נערך בין חמישה שותפים: (1) עבד אלעזיז בן יחיא; (2) בן אחיו, סלימאן בן עבד אלכרים מעמאר; (3) אחיו נצראללה; (4) אחיו יעקוב; (5) דאוד בן שמואל כהן שֻקַיר (השווה למסמך נוסף בשמורת יבר.-ערב. II 1418). חלוקת העבודה בין השותפים מתוארת בפירוט רב, ומספקת מידע מועיל על התפקידים והמשימות השונים בתהליך ייצור הגבינה ומכירתה — חלקם קשורים לכפרי מצרים ולמעורבותם של פלאחים שאינם נקובים בשם. למסמך קראי מאוחר יותר העוסק בייצור גבינה כפרי, ראו: יבר.-ערב. Princeton Geniza Project description: Qaraite partnership agreement in cheese production. Dated: Friday, 12 Tishrei 5350 AM (1901 Seleucid) = 22 September 1589 CE. There are five parties: (1) ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Yaḥyā; (2) his brother's son Sulaymān b. ʿAbd al-Karīm Miʿmār; (3) his brother Naṣrallāh; (4) his brother Yaʿqūb; (5) Dāʾūd b. Shemuel Kohen Shuqayr (cf. Yevr.-Arab. II 1418). Their division of labor is described in detail, providing useful information about the different roles and tasks in the making and selling of cheese– some of which relate to the Egyptian countryside and the involvement of unnamed fallaḥīn.
