Princeton Geniza Project description: Karaite bill of debt, incorrectly listed as a ketubba in Ktiv. Dated 4 Iyyar 5421 AM (1661 CE). Location: presumably Cairo, based on the signature by Barukh Rofe– a well-attested Karaite scribe in the city during the late 1600s. Moshe Levi Qayyim acknowledges a debt of 40 abu kalb guruş to Eliya b. Aharon ha-Levi Rūmī. The debts are related to building expenses for a house. MCD.
