שטר מכר ארוך ומפורט שמעורבים בו חברים רבים מן הקהילה הקראית בקהיר. בשורה 13 מוזכר ההקדש הקהילתי (קודש, waqf), ועיקר המסמך עוסק במכירת דירה בקומה עליונה (שוקקה = شقة) שבעלותה מחולקת כעת בין כמה בעלים, ומכאן ההתייחסויות החוזרות לחלקים שבריריים של קיראט/קראריט (1/24). חתומים על המסמך בעיקר חברים מן הקהילה הקראית: שלמה כהן, אליהו בן ישראל, עמרם חזן ואברהם רופא. בחלק העדים מופיע גם יהודי רבני בשם יעקב, אך שמו המלא אינו ברור.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Long deed of sale involving many members of the Karaite community in Cairo. Line 13 mentions the communal waqf (qodesh) and much of the document focuses on the sale of an upper-level apartment (שוקקה=شقة) whose ownership is currently split multiple ways, hence the recurring references to fractional qīrāṭ/qarārīṭ shares (1/24). Signed mostly by Karaite community members Shelomo Kohen, Eliyahu b. Yisrael, 'Amram Hazan and Avraham Rofe. A Rabbanite Jew, Yaʿaqov, also appears in the witnesses section but his full nomenclature is unclear. MCD.
