רקטו: מכתב מיצחק בן בצלאל בן חיים אל דוד הראשון מימוני (בן אברהם בן משה), שכיהן כנגיד בשנים 1237–1300 לסה"נ. המכתב כתוב בעברית ועוסק בהגנה על "מורה הנבוכים". ורסו: לצד כתובת המכתב שברקטו, מופיעות שלוש שורות בכתב ערבי קליגרפי, ככל הנראה טיוטה לפתיחת עצומה (פטיציה), הכוללת נוסחת תקביל (taqbīl) ושורת תארי כבוד (al-kabīrī al-ajallī al-sayyidī).

Verso: Alongside the address of the letter on recto, there are three lines of calligraphic Arabic script, probably a draft of the beginning of a petition, with a taqbīl clause and various titles (al-kabīrī al-ajallī al-sayyidī).
