מכתב עסקי מאברהם בן פרּאח, באלכסנדריה, אל יעקב בן אברהם (ולבניו אבו אלחֻסיין יוסף ואבו סעיד אבראהים), בפוסטאט. הכותב מתאר את המצב הקשה, ככל הנראה בצפון אפריקה, ומספר על סוחר שאבד בדרכים וכמעט נספה לפני שנמצא והובא אל אונייה. כן הוא מתאר את תנועת האוניות והסחורות באלכסנדריה ומזכיר ענייני מיסים. תיארוך: 20 ביוני 1054. Princeton Geniza Project description: Business letter from Avraham b. Farrāh, in Alexandria, to Yaʿaqov b. Avraham (and his sons Abū l-Ḥusayn Yūsuf and Abū Saʿīd Ibrāhīm), in Fustat. The writer describes the difficult situation, probably in North Africa, and writes about a merchant who had been lost on the road and almost died before he was found and brought to a ship.
