מכתב עסקי בערבית-יהודית. תיארוך: ככל הנראה מן המאה ה-12. המכתב מזכיר את אלכסנדריה ומשא ומתן עסקי עם אבו נצר, שהסתיים ברכישה בסכום של 30 דינרים בלבד; מתייחס ל"מחסור בדירהמים בשוק"; ומבקש 50 דינרים "בדירהמים". כמו כן מוזכרות שתי גלימות עבור מסלם ושתי גלימות עבור ברכאת, וכן עניין שמעורבים בו הקאדי ואלביג'אאי הפקיה (כלומר, מבג'איה). הכותב מוסר דרישת שלום לאבו אלחסן, למסלם ולאבו אלברכאת. בסוף המכתב הוא מבקש לקבל ידיעות על סוחר השוהה בתימן אם יגיע משם אדם כלשהו. בצדו האחורי של המכתב השתמר חלק משם: יוסף הכהן — ייתכן שהנמען הוא אבו זכרי כהן (יהודה בן יוסף).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Business letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: Probably 12th century. Mentions Alexandria; business negotiations with Abū Naṣr, concluding with a purchase for only 30 dinars; refers to "the shortage of dirhams in the market"; requests 50 dinars "in dirhams"; refers to two two robes for Muslim and two robes for Barakāt; an issue involving the qāḍī and al-Bijāʾī the faqīh (i.e., from Bijāya). Greetings to Abū l-Ḥasan and Muslim and Abū l-Barakāt. At the end of the letter, asks for news of a trader in Yemen should anyone arrive from there. A portion of a name is preserved on verso: Yosef ha-Kohen - maybe the addressee is Abū Zikrī Kohen (Yehuda b. Yosef).
