מכתב מאת יהודה בן טוביהו הכהן, מבילבייס, אל שלמה בן נתן הלוי, בפוסטאט. מוזכר שבבית הכנסת נמצא ספר תורה יחיד בלבד; הכותב מבקש משלמה לשכנע את ראש הקהילה להוסיף עוד ספר, שכן הבטחות קודמות לעשות כן לא קוימו. דרישת שלום לאבו אל-חסן בן מצ'מון הלוי. כן מוזכרים אל-שיח' אל-אפתח'אר ואל-שיח' אל-מהדהב.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Yehuda b. Ṭuviyyahu ha-Kohen, in Bilbays, to Shelomo b. Natan ha-Levi, in Fustat. Mentions that there is only a single Torah scroll at the synagogue; the writer asks Shelomo to persuade the leader of the community to add another one since prior promises to do so have not been kept. Regards to Abū l-Ḥasan b. Maḍmūn al-Levi. Also mentions al-Shaykh al-Iftikhār and al-Shaykh al-Muhadhdhab.
