דף מתוך חיבור גיאוגרפי מהמאה התשיעית פרי עטו של הגיאוגרף הפרסי אבן ח'ורדאד'בה (נפטר 912), הנושא את הכותרת "כתאב אל-מסאלכ ואל-ממאלכ" (ספר הדרכים והממלכות). החיבור ממפה ומתאר את נתיבי המסחר השונים של העולם האסלאמי באותה תקופה, ובכלל זה המסחר למרחקים ארוכים עם סין, יפן וקוריאה. הדף הנוכחי מהווה סיכום של מס הח'ראג' שנגבה בח'וראסאן ובשטחים המסופחים אליה. דף זה מצוטט רק אצל הופקינס, Studies in the grammar of early Arabic (1984), עמ' 199. נוסח הדף תואם במידה רבה, אם כי עם שינויים קלים, את המהדורה של כתב היד שיצאה לאור בליידן בשנת 1889.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Folio from a ninth-century geography text written by the Persian geographer Ibn Khordadbeh (d. 912), entitled "Kitāb al-Masālik wa l-Mamālik" (The Books of Roads and Kingdoms). The work maps and describes different trade routes of the Islamicate world at that time, including long-distance trade with China, Japan, and Korea. The present folio is a summary of the kharāj tax collected in Khorasan and the annexed territories. This folio is cited only in Hopkins, Studies in the grammar of early Arabic (1984), p. 199. The edition of this folio closely matches, although with some slight variations, the published version of this manuscript published in Leiden in 1889.
