רקטו: קטע מכתב בכתב ערבי. מתייחס לקאדי זיין אל-דין; תכנית לצאת ביום שלישי ה-3 בצפר; לכך שהקאדי ג'מאל אל-דין הכין כמות גדולה של אוכל ומתכנן ללוות את השולח; ולכך שהקאדי צפי אל-דין גם מתכנן להצטרף והשיג שישה גמלים מאבן אל-פאדיל עבור אביו זיין אל-דין לצורך הובלת האוכל. בוורסו מופיעים חשבונות בכתב ערבי ובספרות יווניות/קופטיות, המפרטים פריטים כגון מלחפות.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Letter fragment in Arabic script. Refers to the qāḍī Zayn al-Dīn; a plan to go out on Tuesday the 3rd of Ṣafar; that the qāḍī Jamāl al-Dīn has prepared a lot of food and plans to accompany the sender; and that the qāḍī Ṣafiyy al-Dīn also plans to join and has obtained six camels (sitt jimāl) from Ibn al-Fāḍīl for his father Zayn al-Dīn in order to transport the food. On verso there are accounts in Arabic script and Greek/Coptic numerals, listing items such as malḥafas.
