דף מתוך פנקס בית הדין. בצד הרקטו: רישום משפטי של בית הדין בפוסטאט, מתוארך לפני אמצע ניסן א'תי"א לשטרות = מרץ 1100 לסה"נ. יוסף בן יוסף אלל'בּאן (מוכר החלב) מקבל מ"כספי העניים" דינר אחד כהלוואה שתיפרע בתשלומים שבועיים של שני דרהמים. נקבע מועד לתחילת ההחזר, אך לא לסיומו. רישום זה והרישום שלאחריו בפנקס בית הדין של פוסטאט נכתבו ונחתמו על ידי הדיין והחכם יצחק בן שמואל (הספרדי). על הרישום חתומים גם משה בן צלחון וצדקה בן שלמה הלוי. Princeton Geniza Project description: Leaf from the court notebook. Recto: Legal record of the court of Fustat. Dated: before the middle of Nisan 1411 Seleucid = March 1100 CE. Yosef b. Yosef al-Labbān (the milkman), receives from 'the money of the poor' one dinar as a loan to be paid back in weekly installments of two dirhams. A term is set for the beginning of the repayment, but not for its end. This and the following entry in the record book of the court of Fustat were written and signed by the judge and scholar Yiṣḥaq b. Shemuel (the Spaniard). This record is also signed by Moshe b. Ṣalḥūn and Ṣedaqa b. Shelomo ha-Levi. (Information from Goitein's attached notes and Mediterranean Society, I, p. 383.)
