עצומה המופנית לאיש מכובד. בכתב ערבי. שמו של מגיש העצומה הוא כנראה אבו עלי בן אבו בכר אל-בזזאז (הסוחר בבדים). אף אחד מניסוחי העצומה הסטנדרטיים אינו שמור, אך המגיש מבקש להתמנות לשירות הנמען. 'העבד אכן חפץ בקרבה אל נוכחות [הנמען] ושיתמנה לאחד משמשיו'.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Petition addressed to a dignitary. In Arabic script. The petitioner may be named Abū ʿAlī b Abū Bakr al-Bazzāz (the clothier). None of the standard petition formulae are preserved but the petitioner is requested to be appointed in the service of the addressee. "the slave verily desires proximity with the presence [of the addressee] and that he be appointed as one of his servants".
