קטע ממסמך משפטי או אולי איגרת. בערבית-יהודית. שמורות ההתחלות של כ-19 שורות, ככל הנראה מתחילת המסמך. החלק הראשון נקרא כמכתב המלצה או לפחות תיאורים משבחים על הבת אללה בן ישועה, הידוע בחסידותו (סלוך אלואג'ב), שהיה לו אב טוב הקשור באופן כלשהו ל"...משה, זכר קדוש וצדיק לברכה" (ייתכן שהכוונה למשה בן מימון). אפשר גם לשחזר זאת אחרת כמתייחס ל"בן משה", ובמקרה זה יכול להיות שמדובר באברהם בן הרמב"ם. בכל מקרה, אדם אחד מתואר כ"ביישן/צנוע" (בישן), ואדם אחר כבוגד (ותבתת כיאנתה). מוזכר גם שיפוץ בית הכנסת (עמארה בית הכנסת). הקטע הבא מתייחס לפרקי זמן שונים (לילות שישי ושבת; מדי שבוע; שלושה חודשים), ולאחר מכן מופיע הביטוי המשפטי הטיפוסי "החתמנו את חתימותינו" (אתבתנא כטנ[א]), בעניין ש"הוא לא ייכנס לתוכו". עבר שימוש משני בצד ב' לפיוט.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Fragment of a legal document or possibly a letter. In Judaeo-Arabic. The beginnings of ~19 lines are preserved, probably from near the beginning. The first part reads a letter of recommendation or at any rate praiseworthy descriptions for Hibatallāh b. Yeshuʿa, who is well known for his piety (sulūk al-wājib), who had a good father somehow associated with "... Moshe, may the memory of the holy and righteous be blessed" (this could be Moshe Maimonides). It would also be possible to reconstruct this differently as referring to "the son of Moshe," in which case it could be Avraham Maimonides. Either way, describes one person as "shamefaced/modest" (בישן), and another person as perfidious (ותבתת כיאנתה). Also mentions a renovation of the synagogue (עמארה בית הכנסת). The next section refers to various periods of time (Friday and Saturday nights; every week; 3 months), and then the typical legal phrase, "we have affixed our signatures" (אתבתנא כטנ[א]), to the effect that "he shall not enter it."
