מכתב מסחרי בערבית-יהודית. פגום ודהוי. מעניק הוראות על מה לקנות. השולח מדווח על קבלת ידיעה על מות אבו אל-עלאא, מבלי לדעת כיצד מת עד ששמע זאת מהמוסלמים. בגב הדף מזכיר את תמים, 'אחיי', ושותף עסקי שאולי שמו בו אל-סרור הכהן. עשוי גם להתייחס לחתיכת ענבר.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Mercantile letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Damaged and faded. Giving various instructions about what to buy. The sender reports receiving the addressee's letter with news of the death of Abū l-ʿAlāʾ. But the sender did not know how he died until he heard it from the Muslims. Greetings to the addressee's brother. On verso mentions Tamīm; 'my brothers'; someone's business partner possibly named Bū l-Surūr (בלסרור) ha-Kohen. May also refer to a piece of ambergris (אלקטעה אלענבר). AA/ASE
