מסמך משפטי בכתב ידו של חלפון בן מנשה הלוי (1100–1138 לסה"נ). מדובר ככל הנראה בטיוטה, כפי שעולה מן התיקונים וההערות בשוליים. המסמך עוסק ביוסף בן ישועה; ברבע מבית; ולפי הנראה באישה בשם בלדין, המעניקה רבע זה במתנה לאחיה ו/או לאדם בשם ברכות (ייתכן שמדובר באותו אדם). נזכרים בו 15 דינרים (סכום שנמחק ותוקן ל"כפי המתאים"). ההסדר עשוי להיות שהאיש יגור בנכס ללא תשלום שכר דירה, בתנאי שישפץ ויתחזק את המבנה. במסמך מופיעים גם [...] בן [עמרא?]ם הכהן השמש, ישועה הכהן החזן בן [...], אחותו של מישהו, אמו של מישהו, והוצאות בנייה. ברכאת הכהן שוכר מאחותו, אשתו של [...] בן אברהם, רבע מבית בסמטת בית הכנסת (זקאק אלכניסה), אשר ירשה מאביה אבו אלח'יר אבן אלערקי. השכירות היא לתקופה של 10 שנים. לפי כרטיס הרישום של גויטיין דמי השכירות הם 5 דינרים, אך היא מעניקה לו אותם במתנה, בתנאי שיבצע את התיקונים הנדרשים. מוזכר גם "אחיה יוסף". בית זה מופיע כציון דרך במסמך אחר. על השם הנדיר בלדין (Baldīn? Baladīn? Baladayn? Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi (1100–38 CE). Draft, based on the corrections and annotations in the margin. Involves Yosef b. Yeshuʿa; a quarter of a house; apparently a woman named Baladīn who gifts this quarter of a house to her brother and/or someone named Berakhot (might be the same person). There is reference to 15 dinars (crossed out and amended to "whatever is appropriate"). The arrangement may be that he will live there rent-free on condition that he renovate and maintain the property. Involves [...] b. [ʿAmra?]m ha-Kohen ha-Shammash, Yeshuʿa ha-Kohen ha-Ḥazzan b. [...], someone's sister, someone's mother, and building expenditures. Barakāt ha-Kohen rents from his sister, the wife of [...] b. Avraham, 1/4 of a house in the alley of the synagogue (zuqāq al-kanīsa), which she had inherited from her father Abū l-Khayr Ibn al-ʿIrqī (בן אלערקי). The lease is for a period of 10 years. Goitein's note card suggests that the rent is 5 dinars, but she gives this to him as a gift, on condition that he make the necessary repairs. Also mentions 'her brother Yosef.' This house appears as a landmark in T-S AS 168.112 (PGPID 22495). On the rare name בלדין (Baldīn? Baladīn? Baladayn?
