מכתב מאהרן בן ישועה הרופא אל יצחק בן שמואל הספרדי. השולח קיבל את מכתבו של הנמען, שבו הביע דאגה באשר למקום הימצאו של אבו אלחסן בן אבו אלמעאלי אבן אסד (ייתכן שהאב אבו אלמעאלי הוא שמואל בן יהודה אבן אסד), ומדווח על מאמציו לאתרו. הוא שמע כי האיש שוהה בדמירה, ועל כן שלח אליו שני שליחים, אך זה הספיק לעזוב את המקום זה עתה והמשיך לג'וג'ר. לאחר עמל רב הצליח השולח למצוא בסופו של דבר שליח נוסף שיסע לג'וג'ר — מלאכה לא פשוטה, שכן ג'וג'ר שוכנת על ענף אחר של הנילוס לעומת אלמחלה, "שכן בין אלמחלה לבינה שני נהרות (בחרין) ואגם (בחירה)". אהרן שיגר כמה מכתבים, ובהם אל החזן ואל ראש הקהל. הוא מציין כי ימלא אחר הוראות הדיינים הגדולים. בגיליון הוא משבח את הנגיד אך אינו נוקב בשמו. מלבד הכתובת, בצד השני מופיעות כמה רשימות קצרות בעברית.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Aharon b. Yeshuʿa ha-Rofe to Yiṣḥaq b. Shemuel ha-Sefaradi. The sender received the addressee's letter with concern about the whereabouts of Abū l-Ḥasan b. Abū l-Maʿālī Ibn Asad (the father Abū l-Maʿālī may be Shemuʾel b. Yehuda Ibn Asad) and reports his efforts to track him down. He heard that he was in Damīra, so he sent two messengers, but he had just barely left and gone on to Jūjar. After much effort the sender eventually found another messenger to travel to Jūjar -- it is difficult because Jūjar is on a different branch of the Nile than al-Maḥalla, "for between al-Maḥalla and it are two rivers (baḥrayn) and a lake (buḥayra)." Aharon sent several letters, including to the cantor and to the head of the congregation. He will follow the orders of the great judges. In the margin he praises but does not name the Nagid. Apart from the address, verso contains several jottings in Hebrew.
