תחתית עצומה בכתב ערבי, המכנה את הנמען 'האב' (אל-ואלד) ומסתיימת בסעיף ר'אי. בין השיטין שורה אחת באותיות עבריות: 'מורנו שֵׁם[ריה?].' נוּעַד מחדש על ה-recto לטקסט ספרותי בעברית.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Bottom of a petition in Arabic script, referring to the addressee as 'the father' (al-wālid) and ending with a raʾy clause (ورايه اعلا واسنى ان شا الله تعالى). Unclear if any of the substance of the request is preserved. In between the lines, there is one line in Hebrew characters reading 'morenu Shem[arya?].' Reused on recto for Hebrew literary text.
