תיאור
מכתב שככל הנראה נשלח מארץ ישראל למצרים, בערבית-יהודית ועברית. תיארוך משוער על פי הכתב: המאות הי"ג–ט"ו. המסמך כולל שני דפים שכפי הנראה היו במקור מחוברים זה לזה, אם כי אופן החיבור המדויק אינו ברור. בעמוד הראשון מדווח הכותב כי לא רק הם, אלא גם בני אלכסנדריה (אהל אלת'גר) שנותרו בחברון, "חלו כולם בקדחת הזאת" (all fell sick with this fever). קשה לעמוד על נושאו של שאר המכתב, והוא דורש בחינה נוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter probably sent from Palestine to Egypt. In Judaeo-Arabic and Hebrew. Dating: ca. 13th–15th century (paleographic dating). There are two folios, which probably originally joined, but it's not clear precisely how. On the first page, the writer reports that "not only them, but the Alexandrians (ahl al-thaghr) who remained in Hebron "all fell sick with this fever" It is difficult to make out the subject of the remainder of the letter. Needs further examination.
