Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document, possibly a partnership. Dating: the paleography supports a dating estimate of 16th- or early 17th-century. The document details commercial arrangments between a certain Yaʿaqov, Eliezer Kohen, and Moshe Ovadyah. The currency used is Venetian perahim (פרחים זהב ויניסי), more commonly known as ducats or ducati. The document contains multiple references to maritime vessels (ספינה) and commerce with the ports of Bulaq and Rhodes. (Information from Avraham David's edition)
