מכתב תודה הממוען לנגיד ובו הזכרה של המלצות שהוענקו על ידיו. הכותב משתמש בכינוי "מרדכי הדור", ביטוי המקובל לתיאור מנהיגי קהילה ורופאי חצר. לפי גויטיין ולפי אלישע רוס-פישביין בספרו על אברהם בן הרמב"ם והחסידים שבמצרים של ימי הביניים, מדובר בכינוי נפוץ בהקשרים אלה. המכתב נכתב על ידי אדם בשם דאוד, דמות המתועדת היטב בתקופה זו. בצד השני (ורסו): רישומי חשבונות בערבית עם ספרות יווניות/קופטיות, הרשומים בכמה זוויות שונות ביחס לכיוון הדף. ראוי לבדיקה נוספת.
