טיוטת מכתב בכתב ערבי, ממוענת לאבו אלמֻרַגַ'א (אבלמרג'א). רק מילים בודדות מגוף המכתב השתמרו לאחר ברכות הפתיחה המקובלות. השולח מדווח שהגיע למקום מסוים ושהגיע לחנות. כפי הנראה, השולח שכח להוסיף את שם המקום לאחר המילה 'אִלא': واما اعلمك به اني وصلت الى وقد اصبت الدكان ("ואשר לכך שאודיעך כי הגעתי אל ___ וכבר הגעתי לחנות"). בפינה הימנית התחתונה ישנן עוד מילים אחדות שנמחקו בקו.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter draft in Arabic script. Addressed to Abū l-Murajjā (ابلمرجا). Only a few words of the substance of the letter are preserved after the standard opening blessings. Reporting that the sender arrived in a certain place and came to the shop. The sender seems to have forgotten to include the name of the place after the word 'ilā': واما اعلمك به اني وصلت الى وقد اصبت الدكان. There are a few more words crossed out at lower right.
