מסמך מדינתי בכתב ערבי. עתירה המבקשת תשובה רשמית (רסקריפט), כנראה ממוענת ישירות לח'ליף, בשל נוסחת ה-ראי (raʾy) המופיעה לקראת הסוף. נראה שהעתירה עוסקת בתיק משפטי, שבו אדם שנפטר וכבר הורשע בעבר נמצא חף מפשע על סמך שתי עדויות המוזכרות בעתירה. העתירה כתובה בכתב לשכת מזכירות (chancery hand), אך נמשכת גם בצד האחורי (verso) — דבר חריג עבור עתירות מהתקופה הפאטמית. כמו כן מוזכרים בצד האחורי ענייני ירושה. תיארוך: לא ידוע. מוזכרים בו שמות כגון עבדאללה בן ג'עפר אל-ד'בּאח ואחמד בן מוחמד, ומתועדות עדויות שנמסרו בפני בית הדין. דורש בחינה נוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: State document, in Arabic script. A petition asking for a rescript, probably directed directly to the caliph, because of the raʾy formula towards the end. The petition seems to be regarding a legal case, in which a deceased person previously convicted is innocent because of two testimonies that are mentioned in the petition . The petition is written in a chancery hand, but also continued on the verso, which makes it atypical for Fatimid-era petitions. Also mentions inheritance on verso. Dating: Unknown. Mentions names such as ʿAbdallāh b. Jaʿfar al-Dhabbāḥ and Aḥmad b. Muḥammad and records testimonies that were given before the court. Needs further examination.
