מכתב משפחתי בכתב ערבי. נפתח כמסמך רשמי בנוסחת התקביל (taqbīl). כמעט שלם, אך דהוי במקומות מסוימים. ייתכן שהוא ממוען ל"דוד מצד האב" (yā ʿamm[ī], recto, שורה 7). מוזכר בו שמישהו "הגיע ונסע לאל־שאם". כמו כן נזכר בן דוד של השולח (ibn ʿammatī, בשורה האחרונה של ה-recto), בת דודתו של הנמען (bint ʿammak, verso, שורה 7), ואמו של השולח (verso, שורה 8). דרוש עיון נוסף.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Family letter. In Arabic script. Begins like a state document with the taqbīl clause. Nearly complete, but faded in places. Perhaps addressed to a 'paternal uncle' (yā ʿamm[ī], recto, l. 7). Mentions that someone "arrived and traveled to al-Shām." Mentions a cousin of the sender (ibn ʿammatī) (last line of recto). Mentions a cousin of the addressee (bint ʿammak) (verso, l. 7) and the sender's mother (verso, l. 8). Needs further examination.
