מסמך מנהלי-שלטוני בכתב ערבי. שריד מקוטע, אך מן הנשמר עולה כי העצומה ממוענת לח'ליפה — מסקנה הנלמדת מן ה"תצליה" (ברכה על הנביא) המקדימה את משפט ה"ראי" (ניסוח האישור או החלטת השליט). העותר מבקש את הוצאתו של מנשר רשמי, ומציין כי פעל לפי המנהג בלשון "אמתת'אלן במא רסם" — כלומר בציות להוראה שניתנה. בצד ה-verso ייתכן שמופיע הרסקריפט (תשובת השלטון לעצומה) או תרגיל כתיבה של סופר, ומוזכר בו קאדי. דרוש עיון נוסף.
Princeton Geniza Project description: State document, in Arabic script. Fragmentary but from what is preserved, it is indicative that the petition is addressed to a caliph due to the taṣliya preceding the raʾy clause. Requests the issuance of a decree and the petitioner acted according to the custom "imtithālan bi-mā rasam". Verso may be the rescript or scribal practice, mentions a qāḍī. Needs further examination.
